The JMCIM Music ministry exists to help the church spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the promises inherent in it, the faithfulness of God to His people and His everlasting love, grace and mercy to His people.

Music is an integral part of the church. It is one of the most powerful spiritual tools that shape the imagination of anyone of who and what God is. Through praise and worship, our minds and hearts are being prepared for a greater spiritual experience with our loving God drawing us closer to His presence and making us feel His sweet Holy Spirit which give us hope and life in a different light. In Paul’s Gospel to the Colossians in Col 3:16, he wrote, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” Something similar is also shown in Ephesians 5:19, which says, “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.” These two verses show that God wants us to sing and make music in His mighty name.
