Our fundamental doctrine
The Dual Nature of Christ
God demands allegiance to His exact teachings only from the Scriptures, the only authority pertaining to Bible doctrine. Moreover, it must be emphasized that the Bible, being inspired by the Holy Spirit, is a spiritual book, and needs to be read or studied with the help of the Holy Spirit, not with the natural mind to avoid misinterpretations and deceptions from the enemy.
The JMCIM firmly believes and follows the full gospel and the Apostolic One God Doctrine: There is only ONE GOD (Deuteronomy 6:4), the First and the Last and beside Him there is no GOD (Isaiah 44:6, Isaiah 43:10). He is the only CREATOR of the heavens and the earth, and of all living beings (Colossians 1:16). He is the same GOD who revealed Himself to humanity (manifested) as the Father [Creator], the Son [Savior](1 John 5:20), and as the Holy Ghost [indwelling Spirit] (Romans 8:11). This mystery of His godliness was proclaimed in 1 Timothy 3:16 clearly stating that “God was manifest in the flesh [as the Son-Jesus Christ], justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
JESUS is the Son of God according to the flesh (Rom. l:3) and the very God Himself according to the Spirit (Matt. 1:18-23). Jesus is the Christ (Matt. 16:16). Jesus is the Creator of all things (Col. 1:16, 17; Jn.1:10; Isa.40:28). Jesus is God with us (Matt. 1:23). Jesus is God made flesh (John 1:1-14). Jesus is He which was, which is, and which is to come, THE ALMIGHTY (Rev. 1:8; Isa. 9:6). To this, Jesus Himself testified when He said: “He that hath seen me hath seen the Father” (John 14:7-11).
A Few verses on the Dual Nature of our Dearest JESUS on earth:
Since it took shedding of blood for the remission (forgiveness) of the sins of the world (Heb. 9:22), God as the Father, being a Spirit, had no blood to shed; so He prepared a body of flesh and blood (Heb. 10:5), that He might fulfill the prophecy of Isa.43:11, “Beside ME there is no SAVIOUR”. Thus, when Jesus was born into the world, he was Jehovah our Saviour (that is the meaning of the name Jesus), the one God of the universe, the Lord God Almighty, born as a man. This caused the angels to sing, “For there is born this day in the city of David, a SAVIOUR, which is CHRIST THE LORD” (Luke 2:11).
The HOLY GHOST is not the third person in the Godhead. The Holy Ghost is the Spirit. He is Jesus Christ coming to dwell in the hearts and lives of those who receive him. That is why, when speaking of the Spirit, Jesus said “I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you” (John 14:16-26; Romans 8:9; 2Corinthians13:5). God is the Saviour, and his saving name is now revealed to men as JESUS. Therefore JESUS is the name of God by which all men shall be saved for there is no salvation in any other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved except in the name of JESUS CHRIST (Acts 4:12).
SALVATION
which is given free by grace through FAITH in the name of our Dearest Jesus Christ, consists of deliverance from sin through the blood of Christ. This is accomplished by having genuine REPENTANCE from sin and ACCEPTANCE of His saving grace followed by WATER BAPTISM in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission (forgiveness) of sins, and receiving the BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, and the continuance of a godly life (Acts 2:26-41) as a result of His grace.
The truth of the Scriptures is confirmed by or manifested through the power of God in the lives of the believers in His Church – the signs, wonders and miracles experienced by believing and obeying the Word of God: divine healing of incurable sicknesses, infirmities and diseases, deliverance from vices and drug addiction, power to cast out demons, protection from evil men and their deadly weapons, from accidents, calamities, etc., experiencing true and lasting peace and joy in the Holy Ghost, and many, many more, which are a token of the assurance of everlasting life in heaven.
Luke 10;19,20 “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding, in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”
The Attributes of God
It is very relevant to establish in the hearts and minds of all the attributes or characteristics of God to have a clear understanding about the doctrine of the Godhead. These are the attributes God alone possesses in combination which are here defined separately.
Omnipotent
God is all powerful. He can do anything and nothing is impossible with Him.
Omnipresent
God is everywhere.
Omniscient
God knows anything and everything.
God is Unchanging
God never changes. Time and space do not affect Him.
God is Eternal
God is everlasting, eternal, has no beginning or ending. Past, present and future are all the same to Him.
God is Love
God is love, the embodiment of what love is all about. It encompasses forgiveness, mercy, longsuffering, etc.
God is Holy
God is holy and hates sin. This includes His being just and righteous. He rewards those who obey His commandments and punishes those who choose to live in unrighteousness. All transgression of His commandments is considered sin. He is a God of judgment and while he promises blessing and eternal life in heaven for the faithful, he also reserves curses and eternal suffering in hell for the wicked. His holiness makes Him a jealous God who demands exclusive worship. He will not share His glory with any false god, literal or figurative.
God is Invisible
God is invisible to the naked eye. He is a Spirit (John 4:24). He is not an image or a matter subject to perception by the five human senses. While man lives in the physical dimension, God inhabits the spiritual realm. Although He has the power to transform Himself into man’s earthly dimension, only His word, the Holy Bible, defines how.
God is Faithful To His Word
God is bound by His word, the Holy Scriptures. What is impossible for Him to do is to lie or go against His word.
Baptism in Jesus’ Name
There should not be any confusion regarding water baptism if only the Word of God is perfectly understood. Baptism using the Trinitarian formula “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” written in Matthew 28:19 was not the verbatim form used by the Apostles. Nowhere in the Bible did the Apostles baptize repeating word for word what is written in Matt 28:19 but in JESUS’ name, according to Acts 2:38 and elsewhere.
Examining the verses will reveal harmony, not inconsistency, of the seemingly different views:
Matt 28:19 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”
The word “name” is singular, which means that the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are one and the same. The next question will be, “what is the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost?” Now there will be no question why the Apostles baptized according to the following verse:
Acts 2:38 “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
Because the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost is JESUS CHRIST!
The Name of GOD
Because the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost is JESUS CHRIST!
- Elohim (Plural of Eloah, not plurality of persons, but plurality of attributes, majesty and powers)
- El Shaddai (God Almighty)
- Jehovah (or JHVH, or Lord, “the great and terrible name”, etc.)

- Jehovah-Ra-ah (Shepherd)

But it was prophesied that one day the name of God will be revealed: Zech 14:9 “And the Lord shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall there be ONE LORD, and His name one.”
In the New Testament, Zech 14:9 is fulfilled. Who is King? Who is Lord? What is the name of the Lord? There is only one answer: JESUS!
Our Position on Divine Healing
God is the great Physician. His knowledge of the human mind and body is complete. He can do more for the sick and the diseases than can all earthly Doctors and surgeons combined. He created us; is it not reasonable, then, to believe that he can heal us when are sick?
The Provision of Healing
Christ’s suffering and death purchased healing for us-physically, mentally, and spiritually. “Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows. With his stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:4-5). This promise definitely includes physical healing, for the Gospel of Matthew says this passage was fulfilled by Christ’s Healing of people who were sick: “He casts out the spirits with His word, and healed all that were sick: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, “Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” (Matthew 8:16-17). (See also 1Peter 2:24).
The healing ministry of Christ did not end with his earthly life; it is part of His work in the church today. He promised, “These signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils… they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:18). Listed among the gifts of spirit for the present-day church are “the gifts of healing” (1Corinthians 12:9).
James 5:14-15 presents God’s plan for divine healing: “Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of name of the Lord: and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up. “Laying on of hands usually accompany prayer for healing, in accordance with God’s Word and to focus faith.
Faith in the Lord is the key to receiving healing. The Gospels record that Jesus healed people according to their faith. (See Matthew 9:29; 13:58; Mark 2:5; 5:34,36; 9:23-24; 10-52.) By the power of God the Apostle Paul was able to raise up a lame man at Lystra because he perceived that the man had faith to be healed
Prayer for healing, like all prayer, must be offered by faith in the name of Jesus, with proper motives, form a repentant heart, and in submission to the will of God (Acts 3:16; James 4:3 ; 1 John 3:21-22; 5:14-15). God does always answer in the manner of time that we expect, but we must always keep our trust in him,
Even when we do not understand circumstances. Moreover, whatever healing or release from handicaps and weaknesses that Christians do not receive in this life, they will obtain in the resurrection, for their mortal bodies will be glorified and given immortality, and death itself shall be destroyed (1Conrintians 15:26, 49-57).
Healing in Bible Times
God gave the first recorded promise of divine healing soon after He brought the Israelites out of Egypt. He told them, “ I am the LORD that healeath thee” (Exodus 15:26). Psalm 103:3 describes to his prayer and added fifteen years to his life (2 Kings 20:5).
The New Testament records many healings in the earthly ministry of Jesus , and He performed many that are not individually recorded. “Jesus went about all Galilee…healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the People” (Matthew 4:23). He gave sight to the blind, unstopped deaf ears, cleansed
lepers, made the lame to walk, and raised the dead (Matthew 11:4-5).
After Christ’s ascension, He continued His ministry of healing through His apostles and other disciples. Working through Peter and John, He healed a lame man who had never walked (acts 3:6-8). Many miracles occurred in stephen’s ministry, and many people were healed during Philip’s revival in Samaria (Acts 6:8; 8 -7). Through God’s power, Peter raised Dorcas from the dead (Acts 9:36-42). And God worked special miracles of healing in the ministry of Paul (Acts 19:11-12). Comparatively, few healings of the time were record, for Acts 5:16 states, “there came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.”
God heals today
God still heals today. Many contemporary instances are documented into two books published by Word Aflame Press: Miracles in our Day and God Answer prayer. These examples demonstrate that God’s promise healing is still being fulfilled.
The good that medicals doctors and medicines do is to be appreciated, but God is the ultimate source of all healing. It is He who has given doctors skill and intelligence, and it is He who created the substances from which medicines are extracted or manufactured. The Doctors and the Medicines, however, can only assist the human body in renewing the natural healing power invested in it by the Creator.
